Ladies and Gentlemen,

As the festival of colours scatters joy and cheer in the air, I extend my heartiest wishes to you all and hope that the ensuing year is filled with the best hues of happiness, prosperity and progress.

As we gear ourselves to step into a fresh Financial Year, I would like to share with you all some of the achievements of the past months.

The Bank has stepped into this year with some fresh promises to accomplish and I am happy to share that alongwith these promises, we have also been bestowed with the results of some past efforts which we had initiated in the early months of this financial year.

Our long awaited project of launching the RuPay ATM cum debit card has almost reached the brim of success and has been successfully tested for ATM transactions and PoS transactions. Very soon, it shall be officially launched for all our customers. Keeping in tune with the national mission of 'Pehal' wherein customers can link their bank accounts to their Aadhar Numbers for obtaining LPG subsidy, we have been authorized by NPCI and Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to facilitate our customers with the Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme for LPG subsidy.

Moreover, as our Prime Minister emphasizes on the national mission for promoting the 'Girl Child' our Bank has also actively contributed in the mission by celebrating the Balika Diwas week from 24th to 31st January, 2015. At HCBL Co-operative Bank we sincerely believe that a society that values its women is a progressive society and has the potential to tap and promote the best talent available in the society. In tune with this thought our Branches organized different programmes in girls colleges wherein girl students were educated about the basic concepts of banking, the need for developing a habit of thrift and various avenues of financial assistance available through financial institutions to promote higher education amongst the young females.

Adding to the initiatives of our Financial Inclusion drive, in this quarter, we have again extended financial assistance to the chikan and zardoji artisans and assisted them in setting up their independent work units while keeping the age old craft alive in the city. Till date around 75 artsisans have benefitted from our financial assistance scheme and this number is likely to grow manifold in future.

We are also pleased to announce that our Bank has got the coveted Trademark registration for its unique and creative concept of 'E-Lobby' through which Bank provides banking services 24 X7.

With an eventful start to the year, we are also focused on closing the financial year with impressive figures and the entire team is committed to accentuate the business of the Bank and deliver better results in the coming days. With the support and patronage of thousands of customers and with the zeal to scale 'Mission Everest' which we have set for ourselves, I am hopeful that the Bank shall unleash many more colours of success and achievement in the coming days.

Thank You

(Anil Vikram Singh)
