Financial Inclusion

To fulfill the dreams of our "Father of the Nation"- Mahatma Gandhi which says "India lives in its villages" and to strengthen the RBI's initiative of Financial Inclusion, our Bank has adopted few villages as steps to promote Financial Inclusion in its area of operation. We have taken the overall responsibility of development of living standard, increasing source of income of the family and creating awareness amongst the villagers/weaker section of the society specially women.

Keeping the above in mind, our bank has even opened accounts of "Bhikshus" (beggars) and has taken initiatives to change their lives, making them self sufficient which comes lowest segment of social pyramid. We believe in Social Inclusion before Financial Inclusion and thus organized various vocational training like mehndi, pickle, sauce, papad making, Thaila making, agarbatti making classes etc. for women and villagers to make them Self Motivated, Self Sufficient, Self Employed so that they can earn money rather than just opening "No frill a/c's" for ceremonial financial inclusion.

We seriously believe that only healthy person can lead a prosperous life. Thus to emphasise importance of health we quite often organise health check up camps and education programs for social awareness as our Corporate social activities also."
